Do you want to work in a small, supportive team involved in policy, planning, and direct administration of affordable housing programs?
The ARCH Planner for Housing Policy and Programs will serve as the lead housing staff responsible for implementing a growing number of incentive and inclusionary housing programs for East King County cities. In this role, you will develop contracts and covenants between developers and cities that integrate affordable housing opportunities into market-rate developments, and coordinate closely within the ARCH team to ensure smooth transitions to lease-up or sales. You will also have a key role in evaluating and enhancing program effectiveness and developing policy recommendations for new or improved affordable housing policies and programs.
A Regional Coalition for Housing (ARCH) is a partnership of 15 East King County Cities and King County who work together to create and preserve affordable housing for low- and moderate-income households in the region. ARCH staff support member governments by developing housing policies, strategies, programs, and development regulations; investing local resources in affordable housing developments; administering affordable housing programs; and assisting people looking for affordable rental and ownership housing.

Salary: $70,671.00 - $97,516.80 Annually
