The public is urged to avoid the Kelsey Creek Park area due to a potentially armed and dangerous male suspected of holding up Columbia Bank in Bellevue that was reported to police at 3:20pm Tuesday.

The suspect is described as being in his 20's with a medium build, 6-feet 2-inches tall wearing a yellow construction vest and a black face covering.

The suspect drove away from the bank in a black Dodge Challenger then abandoned his car and fled into Kelsey Creek Park.

Bellevue police are canvassing the area with a K9 and airborne drone.

Bellevue police's Public Information Officer, Meeghan Black said, "If you see anything or hear anything out of the ordinary, please call 911," Black said. "Do not approach the suspect. We do consider him to be potentially armed and dangerous" according to KOMO news.
