Republicans in WA state want workers to not pay "this burdensome tax and not pay into another one of the Democrats incompetent big-government programs" according to Steve Johnson, press release writer and blogger for the Washington State Republican Party website.

His call for action is for volunteers to help collect the signatures needed to get I-1436 on the ballot next year - that's 325,000 signatures, and they are needed before the end of this year to get on next year's November ballot.

Help gather signatures to stop the Long-Term Care Tax.
