King 5 news reported that Washington federation of state employees have filed a lawsuit to pause Gov. Jay Inslee's vaccine mandate in federal court.

The Seattle Times also reported that a state employees union is questioning whether terminated state employees will be able to collect unemployment benefits.

The state employees union claims that Inslee failed to bargain in good faith and have not provided details, such as how state employees will be affected by the mandate, and that the union has been left in the dark after submitting proposals that were  dismissed.

The lawsuit was filed in Thurston County Superior Court with Inslee expected to file a response.
